Premikudu likely title for Bunny film
Allu Arjun's current movie in the direction of Bommarillu Bhaskar is likely to be titled as Premikudu, and not as thought of earlier as Vaaradhi or Romeo. The film unit is of unanimous opinion that the title Premikudu would be hundred percent apt to the story. The movie with Sheela as heroine is getting ready for release on February 14 th as Valentines Day gift.

DON REVIEW (BELOW AVERAGE)
Story:Suri (Nagarjuna) is a Hyderabadi based Don but does only good for society. Raghava (Lawrence) is an orphan who lives with Suri since childhood as his younger brother. A Mumbai based don Stephen eyes on Hyderabad and wants to capture. But Suri interrupts him. Then the Mumbai don wishes to put an end to Suri. The power stunt starts. Finally as expected, after a series of kidnaps and abductions the film comes to climax. Obviously, good wins over evil. There is nothing big to say than this. It’s all the screenplay, camera work and sound effect that are required to make this plot as a film. Screenplay is average, camera work is good and sound effects are again average.
Performances:Dialogues by Abburi Ravi are not so interesting. They are quite ordinary and nothing worth to say about. Comedy is missing in the film but the audiences have to adjust only with the situational humor by Lawrence (in fact that hardly brings laughs). Lawrence appears to be very comfortable with sentimental tracks. He proved that he is poor in dealing a mafia oriented subject. He is poor with comedy too.
Nagarjuna proved to be a wrong choice for this subject. The film is lacking in conviction completely. The bearing of Nagarjuna as Don with gelled back hair style is not impressive. The only relief for audience in this flick is Anushka. She has shown her oomph factor and also acted in a lip locking scene with Nag. Lawrence over-acted in the film and his dubbing is below average. In fact it is the same voice that has been lending for him.
Music is just average. Lawrence has shown a little maturity only in music direction than in anything else. ‘Entandanga unnave…’, and ‘Su Su Soori Anna…’got good response from the audience.
Lawrence has to do home work with respect to blending proper comedy in the film, screenplay and bringing in grip in narration with right tempo.
First half of the film runs with high voltage introduction of Nagarjuna and his love track. Second half becomes serious with the fight between Mumbai Don Stephen and Hyderabadi Don Nagarjuna. Climax concludes the film abruptly.
All the characters in the film (be it Mumbai based mafia dons or Goan ladies) speak only in Telugu. There is a ‘Note’ in the beginning of the film stating “We are showing everyone in the film speaking only in Telugu to make the Telugu audience understand the film”. So one has to go with the note and watch the film.
Lawrence made the film depending only on style and technical aspects. The required spirit in the film is lacking.

Nag’s Don in trouble
Nagarjuna’s much hyped film Don, directed by Raghava Lawrence, is releasing today, but only in Nizam area. It is reliably learnt that the film print boxes have not reached many areas in Andhra and Ceded areas, because of some differences between the producer and the distributors about the price tags.
It is reliably learnt that Don will not open with the morning show in many districts of Andhra and rayalaseema. If the dispute between the producers and distributors is not resolved soon, it is unlikely that Don will be shown even first and second shows today.

Sankranti to see huge releases
Then there is the highly anticipated film Vaana, which is the directorial debut of M S Raju. The film is incidentally the remake of hit Kannada film Mungaru Malle and has Vinay Chopra and Meera Chopra in the lead. The film’s music will be released by Aditya Music on December 14 and it is said that it could be released on the festival day.
Though it is not confirmed yet, it is being rumoured that Allu Arjun’s film with Bhaskar who had earlier directed Bommarillu, too could be released on this day. Since it’s been a long time since Allu Arjun has been seen on screen and given the fan following that he has got post his soft drink advertisement, many of his girl fans are looking forward to his next release.
Another film that could be postponed to Sankranti or released in December is Nagarjuna’s film Don. He is once again paired with Anushka in the film. Knowing Nagarjuna, it could be one stylish flick.

BJP make feeble attempts on Telangana
Looks like Bharatiya Janatha party (BJP) has not lost its hope on attracting voters with its Telangana slogan, as it feels it can retain its identity at least to some extent in Telangana.
The party is now planning to carry out 'Telanagana Chaithanaya Yatralu' to create awareness about the need of separate Telangana state among the masses from November 20 to 30 in the nine mandals each from one Assembly constituency. The programme will be extended to all mandals later. On the last day public meeting will be held in all mandal headquarters in which state and national level leaders will take part.
The party will collect one crore signatures and will be submitted to the President of India and they will go the Delhi booking special train called it Telngana express as part of Chalo Rashtrapathi. One has to wait and see whether it will retain at least its present number in the next Assembly.

'India sends the most students to the US'
Washington, Nov 13 For the sixth year in a row India sent the most number of students to the US in 2006-07 with a 10 percent increase taking the numbers to 83,833, according to a new report on international educational exchange.
China remained in second place, with numbers up eight percent to 67,723 and South Korea, in third place, increased six percent to 62,392, said the annual Open Doors report released Monday by the Institute of International Education.
India also dominated with one in seven (14.4 percent) of the total of 582,984 international students who together contributed about $14.5 billion to the US economy through their expenditure on tuition and living expenses, said the report.
The US Department of Commerce considers US higher education as the country's fifth largest service sector export as these students bring money into the national economy and provide revenue to their host states for living expenses, health insurance, support for accompanying family members, and other miscellaneous items.
Published with support from the US Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, the Open Doors 2007 report noted that 61.5 percent of all international students receive the majority of their funds from personal and family sources.
When other sources of foreign funding are included, such as assistance from their home country governments or universities, a total of two thirds (66 percent) of all international students' primary funding comes from sources outside of the US.
Not only did India send the most students to the US, it also attracted more US students with their numbers going up to 2,115, up 20 percent. Israel followed with 1,981, up 22.5 percent, and Peru was third with 1,135, up 31 percent.
However, Britain was once again the leading destination for study abroad by American students, with a total of 32,109 followed by Italy (26,078) and Spain (21,881) in the third place. The total went up by 8.5 percent to 223,534.
The majority of students from India were enrolled for study at the graduate level (71.1 percent) in academic year 2006-07. While 15 percent joined at the undergraduate level, 12.8 percent joined at other levels and 1.2 percent came for optional practical training.
An accompanying fall (autumn) 2007 survey also indicated that new enrolments from most countries seem to be increasing with 38 percent institutions reporting increases versus 16 percent reporting declines from India.
In the case of China, 53 percent reported increases versus 10 percent reporting declines. The numbers for Korea were 35 percent increases versus 17 percent declines.
Sixty percent (417) of all responding institutions have taken special steps to ensure that the number of international students on their campuses does not decline. International student recruitment trips thus seem to have concentrated mainly on Asia, with China, Korea, and India as most popular recruitment destinations.
Asia remained the largest sending region, accounting for 59 percent of total US international enrolments, and increasing by 5 percent this year. The number of students from South and Central Asia increased by 10 percent, driven by the large increases from India, while enrolments from Pakistan and Bangladesh declined.
The number of students from 12 of the top 20 places of origin increased in 2006-07. Of the eight countries in the top 20 that experienced declines, only three decreased by more than three percent.
Among the leading fields of study for international students in the US, business remains the leading field with 18 percent of the total, closely followed by engineering with 15 percent.
The field that experienced the largest increase in enrolments was intensive English, up 30 percent from the previous year.
Increases in international student enrolments were reported in nearly every state with colleges and universities in California attracting the largest number of foreign students with 77,987, up 3.5 percent, followed by New York with 65,884, up 2.5 percent, and Texas with 49,081, up five percent.
The New York City metropolitan area was the leading destination for international students, with 51,973 enrolled in area schools. The Los Angeles metropolitan area followed with 35,870 international students.
For the sixth consecutive year, the University of Southern California enrolled the largest number of international students, with a record 7,115. Columbia University remains in second place with 5,937 international students and New York University moved up to third place this year with 5,827 international students.

OKKA MAGADU AUDIO ON DEC 8TH
Supreme Audio has bought the music rights for Balakrishna starer Okka Magadu for whopping price. The audio firm says that they bought the rights owing to the confidence they had in Balakrishna.Given that the music of all his films has done well till date, and the fact that Mani Sharma is doing the music for this film, there are a lot of expectations about this film.So the firm has reportedly splurged double the money that one usually puts in for a Balakrishna film.
